WHY TO BE A SURROGATE?
Every couple deserves to have a baby. When some couple might have medical problems to prevent them from having a baby of their own, a surrogate mother is often needed to fulfill their dreams. A woman who agrees to carry an embryo (usually through IVF) through gestation for another couple (intended parents) is called a surrogate mother. The surrogate mother’s eggs will not be used. The surrogate mother will not be the legal mother of the newborn child(ren) and the intended patents will. The whole process is totally legal in California, Nevada, Texas and some other states. At Miracle Conception, you will have the unique opportunity to help other couples and also get compensated $$$$$.

FAQ

1

1). Is Surrogacy legal?
Yes, California, Nevada and many other states recognize the legality and enforceability of surrogate contracts.

2). Why do I need agency representation rather than independent?
A successful surrogacy experience needs the participation of medical specialists, lawyers, escrow managers, coordinators and sometimes interpreters with intended parents. These tasks need a team to accomplish in a timely and smooth manner. Intended parents generally only have their confidence in an agency to be a proficient undertaker of the project.

3). Do I get compensated besides the fulfillment of helping a struggling family?
Yes! You will be compensated well as a surrogate by the intended parents.

4). Why do I work with Miracle Conception?

5). As a surrogate, would I be able to claim parenthood of the newborn baby?
No. Genetically, the baby is only related to the intended parents. Contractually and legally, the intended parents are the parents of the baby.

6). Do I need to pay medical bills?
No. The intended parents pay the medical cost related to the surrogacy for you, including but limited to your health insurance premium, co-pays and deductibles.

7). How could I speed up the matching process?
First of all, contact us and fill the application form at your earliest convenience. Then, request your OBGYN and delivery records (we can help you on this). Some clinics may take up to 15 business days before they release records. Please plan a supporting team of family and friends during your pregnancy. A surrogate may deal with work, kids and pregnancy at the same time. A supporting team would be essential here. The intended parents would also be interested to know such a team is available.

8). Could I be a surrogate without letting my family know?
A surrogate needs to discuss this important decision with her partner/husband and other family members that may have an impact on the journey before committing. After chatting with intended parents, a surrogate is expected to confirm with her family that their endorsements stay with specific choices of intended parents.
